About me

I am a self-taught painter. An ordinary guy who was fascinated by illustrations in books as a child, later by Walt Disney cartoons and finally by masters like Leonardo, Michelangelo, Rembrandt, Caravaggio, Alfons Mucha or Zdeněk Burian.

An introvert who expresses himself with colours rather than words. For me, painting has always been a way of communication — calm, natural, without stress. Each painting is my sentence, sometimes quiet, sometimes emphatic, but always sincere. I am happy when people stop by them and maybe it makes them think for a moment.

And my studio? That is a chapter in itself. I have to step in it with the precision of a pyrotechnician, because there are brushes, spatulas, tubes of paint everywhere… finding a free space on the floor is sometimes like walking through a minefield. But it is in this chaos that the paintings are created, with which I invite you into my world.
